MYSLL - "The Missile"
A new select lacrosse league for towns in Massachusetts. Fifteen teams, the goal of the league is to provide the next level of lacrosse for players who are in the 7th or 8th grade.
Every game is played with our "Spirit of the game" philosophy. The MYSLL stresses sportsmanship and fair play. Competetive play is encouraged, but never at the expense of respect between players, adherence to the rules and the basic joy of lacrosse.
Weston 8 is the 2009 MYSLL Champions.
June 15th - Championship GameWeston 8 wins on overtime over Westford 7 to 6.
June 8th - Winners: Weston 7, Weston 8, Sharon, Reading, Framingham, Acton and Newton. Westford had a bye.
June 10th - Quarter Finals - Westford, Weston 8, Reading and Acton advanced.
June 11th - Semi-Finals - Westford and Weston 8 advance.
June 13th - 5:00 p.m. - The Battle of the Beltways is ON!
The MYSLL All-Star game ended in a tie: Rte. 495 tied with Rte. 128 7 to 7.
